Multi Wire Saw Stone Block Cutting Machine

A high-end Turkish marble quarry faced the following challenges when using traditional frame sawing technology:

In terms of process loss, about 45% of the material became waste due to excessive sawing seams (average 4-5mm) and plate breakage. This caused a large amount of Carrara marble rough material loss, with losses of up to 2.8 million euros. The traditional process plate output rate was low, only 55%.

Implementation of multi-wire saw system transformation in 2024:

1. Equipment configuration: Deploy 2 Hualong intelligent multi-wire saw cutting machines, using 0.20mm ultra-fine diamond cutting wire to cut blocks.

2. Intelligent process optimization: Adaptive algorithm handles irregular block shapes and generates the optimal cutting path in real time.

Through 12 months of production verification, the following significant results have been achieved:

1. Material utilization rate: Output rate improvement curve: 55% → 82% (3 months) to 97% (stable period). The output of a single block of raw material increased by 42 pieces of standard plates (2000×1200×20mm)

2. Cost control: Annual raw material cost savings: 2,340,000 euros (based on the current exchange rate). The overall waste disposal cost is reduced by 67%

3. Process accuracy: Saw seam control: ≤1.2mm (70% reduction compared to traditional processes). The plate integrity rate reached: 99.2% (the breakage rate dropped to 0.8%)
