As a heavy equipment for stone mining and processing, granite block cutting machine must strictly comply with safety standard operating procedures.
1. Safety preparation before operation
(1) Personnel protection
Operators are required to wear a full set of PPE: dust mask (NIOSH certified), splash protection goggles, non-slip steel toe shoes, and noise-cancelling earplugs
Gloves are forbidden (to prevent getting caught in rotating parts), and long hair should be tied up and tucked inside a hard hat to avoid getting caught in the device. It is strictly forbidden to operate the equipment under the influence of alcohol or by people who are unwell.
(2) Equipment inspection
Check the mechanical parts of the granite block cutting machine to confirm whether it is normal and there is no leakage in the pipeline; Check whether the cutting blade has cracks, whether the installation is firm, and whether the blade guard is intact.

(3) Environmental confirmation
Clean up the debris around the equipment to ensure that the operation area is spacious and free of obstacles; Set up obvious safety warning signs to prohibit irrelevant personnel from entering the cutting radius.

2. Standardized operation in operation
After starting the equipment, let the cutting machine run no-load for 2-3 minutes, observe whether the equipment has abnormal vibration and noise, and confirm that each component is operating normally before cutting. When cutting, keep your hands away from the cutting area, and it is forbidden to forcibly adjust the block being cut by hand or other tools.
During the cutting process, if you find that the blade is stuck, the block is shifted or the equipment has an abnormal sound, you must immediately press the emergency stop button, turn off the power supply, and then troubleshoot after the equipment completely stops running.
Accident case alerts
Case 1: Failure to lock the block causes the board to fly out (consequence: 3 m exterior wall breakdown)
▶ Corrective measures: install double solenoid valve interlock device
Case 2: Dust accumulation caused flash explosion (loss: 200,000 yuan equipment damage)
▶ Corrective measures: upgrade the pulse back-blowing dust removal system

3. Safety specifications for shutdown and maintenance
After the cutting operation is completed, it is necessary to turn off the cutting switch and the total power supply of the equipment in turn, and then clean up the equipment and the operation area after the blade completely stops rotating. Regular maintenance of the cutting machine ensures that the equipment is always in a safe operating state.

Strictly abiding by the safety standard operation process of granite block cutting machine is the key to preventing accidents and ensuring production safety. Operators need to continuously strengthen safety awareness and master operation skills to ensure that every operation is carried out under the premise of safety and control.
