Safety Of Handheld Cutting Machines

(1) The cutting machine has a mechanism for adjusting the cutting depth and cutting angle, which must have reliable locking measures to prevent it from loosening during normal operation.
(2) The whole machine should be equipped with a cutting saw blade protective cover (made of steel plate thicker than 2mm) that cannot be removed by hand, and ensure that the angle of the exposed part of the cutting saw blade is not greater than 180° to prevent the saw blade from being damaged or the processed debris from flying and injuring the human body.
(3) Except for Class III cutting machines, the rotor of the cutting machine must be designed as a double insulation structure, that is, the rotating shaft is an additional insulating shaft. Class III cutting machines must have reliable grounding terminals, and the wiring lugs must be silver-plated or chrome-plated. The length of the grounding wire segment must be greater than the length of the other two current-carrying wire segments, so that the grounding wire can still be reliably grounded before the current-carrying wire is powered off.
(4) The outer diameters of the upper and lower pressure plates of the cutting machine's saw blade and the contact surface rings between the two pressure plates and the grinding wheel are of the same size to avoid additional stress on the saw blade.
(5) The radial runout value of the output shaft end should not exceed 0.04mm.
(6) The wet cutting machine must be equipped with an isolation transformer for power supply, and the rated voltage must be lower than 115V. It must also be equipped with a rainproof cover and a wet saw blade.
(7) Diamond saw blades cannot be used to cut metal materials. Otherwise, it will cause overheating, shorten the life, and easily cause cracks. Before use, it must be checked for cracks and bends, confirmed to be intact, and can only be used after the test run is normal. When the saw blade is running, it must be prevented from contacting the hand or body.
(8) There must be a reliable clamping auxiliary device, especially when cutting small pieces of material, to prevent it from flying out and causing accidents.
