Electric stone cutting machines use diamond saw blades. The cutting principle is that the high-speed linear speed of the blade edge forms a continuous small impact force to cut into the material. The diamond particles protruding from the adhesive surface at the edge of the blade impact the workpiece to perform cutting. The small chip particles chipped from the material are frictionally bonded. The surface of the agent causes the formation of new convex parts of the diamond grains, thus automatically and continuously making new cuts.
Main types of saw blades
In order to achieve safe, high-quality and efficient operations, different types of saw blades must be selected according to the workpiece to form different cutting methods.
1. Continuous blade type (wet type)
There is a continuous and uniform diamond bonding layer on the edge of the saw blade. When used to cut hard and brittle materials, it can obtain a very smooth cutting surface and high cutting accuracy, with smooth operation and no edge chipping. However, the flushing method must be used during operation. First, it can eliminate chip dust and eliminate pollution. Second, it can provide cooling and lubrication effects, which is beneficial to cleaning the processing surface and improving cutting efficiency.
2. Segmental type (dry type)
Saw blades are the most commonly used. There are even gaps on the outer edge of the saw blade to remove accumulated chips. The continuous outer edge surface is also bonded with a diamond layer. When using this kind of saw blade, the cutting opening is generally wider and the cutting accuracy is poor.
3. Corrugated type (wet and dry type)
The function of the saw blade is between the above two, with both dry and wet characteristics.
4. Composite type (dry type)
The saw blade has the combined functions of an abrasive tool and a diamond saw blade. It is characterized by no loss of torque or speed under load and is suitable for heavy-duty cutting as a cutting operation on hard concrete, granite and other high-strength materials.
Installation and removal of saw blades
(1) Put the output shaft end upward and install the pressure plate seat into the spindle with the convex part facing upward.
(2) Select the rotation arrow of the saw blade to be consistent with the turning arrow mark of the cutting machine, place it flatly on the spindle plate seat, and then install the upper pressure plate.
(3) Take the special pressure plate nut and screw it into the shaft end, use a special wrench to insert into the "eccentric" part of the spindle to clamp the spindle, and use another special wrench to tighten the nut.
(4) When disassembling, reverse the above order.
