The Hualong Machinery HLMW-100/150 ultra-thin diamond multiwire features a double-column structure design. Currently, this stone block cutting machine is the preferred equipment for many stone processing plants for cutting luxury stones. By optimizing the wire saw selection, process parameters, and auxiliary systems, Hualong has minimized chipping and scratching when cutting marbles such as Calacatta, Carrara, and Emerald, preserving the natural texture and luster of the luxury stone and achieving optimal cutting results. The specific solution is as follows:

Prioritize the use of 0.35-0.5mm fine-diameter diamond wire saws (compatible with equipment with a diameter of 0.3-0.8mm), paired with 80-100 mesh fine-grained abrasive (particle size 150-200μm). This results in less cutting impact and avoids texture chipping caused by coarse wire saws. For ultra-thin luxury stone slabs of 2-5mm, use a 0.35mm wire saw to reduce the kerf width to within 0.4mm, minimizing the loss of high-priced luxury stone raw materials.

The double-column frame boasts high rigidity, with a crossbeam deflection ≤0.01mm/m. Combined with the INOVANCE servo system and ball screw drive (lead error ≤0.003mm/300mm), the cut surface flatness is controlled within ±0.1mm, preventing wavy lines from ruining the splicing effect of the luxury stone. The equipment's low-vibration design (noise reduction 40dB) minimizes wire saw movement (amplitude ≤0.008mm), avoiding damage to light-colored luxury stone surfaces.

The equipment's tension system stabilizes the cutting tension at 130-150N (10% lower than ordinary stone). Coupled with patented wire winding technology, the wire saw breakage rate approaches zero. The dynamic tension compensation response time is ≤50ms, automatically supplementing tension by 0.5-1N when cutting hard crystalline material, preventing localized overload and edge chipping.

For soft luxury marble (Calamari, Carrara), the feed rate is set at 25-30 m/s. For luxury marble containing hard crystals (Carrara), the rate is reduced to 25-28 m/s. Variable frequency control of the equipment enables smooth speed adjustment, avoiding high-speed cutting impacting the texture. A new line segment is automatically replaced every 800-1000 m to ensure uniform abrasive cutting force and reduce texture tearing.

In the initial stage, set the feed rate to 50-80 mm/h to slowly cut in and release surface stress on the luxury stone, preventing surface chipping. In the intermediate stage, set the feed rate to 150-200 mm/h for stable feeding, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. In the final stage, reduce the feed rate to 80-100 mm/h, and use the equipment's soft reversing technology to reduce bottom chipping and corner cracking.

Relying on the equipment load monitoring function, the cutting force threshold of luxury stone is set (5-8N for soft stone, 8-12N for crystalline stone). When the force exceeds the threshold, the speed is automatically reduced by 0.2-0.3mm/min to avoid overload damage caused by uneven texture hardness. The chipping rate can be controlled below 3%.
