When using a Multiwire Machine for Granite, please refer to the following tips:

1. Pre-cutting Preparation Tips

Selecting the Right Saw Blade/Wire Saw: Prioritize using diamond saw blades specifically designed for marble to avoid chipping edges caused by granite saw blades; for multiwire machines, select a fine-grit diamond wire saw adapted to marble to improve cut smoothness.

Materials and Tools: Prepare marble blocks, cutting machine, diamond cutting discs, measuring tape, chalk or markers, and protective equipment (goggles, mask, gloves, earplugs).

Pre-treating the Stone: Remove mud, sand, and impurities from the surface of the block. Clamp it evenly with moderate force. Place a cork or rubber pad under the block to prevent scratches on the work surface.

Working Environment: Choose a well-ventilated, well-lit location with a flat and stable surface. Avoid operating in drafty or damp areas.

2. Multiwire Machine for Granite Operating Techniques

Measurement and Marking: Accurately measure the cutting dimensions with a measuring tape. Mark lines on the marble with chalk or markers, ensuring clear and accurate lines. Cutting Start-up: After starting the equipment, let the saw blade/wire saw idle for 1-2 minutes before slowly contacting the stone to avoid chipping due to sudden impact.

Path Control: Use infrared positioning assistance for straight cutting to ensure accurate cutting path; before cutting irregular shapes, draw a baseline on the stone surface. For CNC models, import the drawings in advance and simulate the operation to avoid path deviation.

Mid-Cut Inspection: During the cutting process, regularly check the wear of the cutting blade and whether the cutting depth is consistent. Adjust promptly if any abnormalities are found.

3. Post-Processing

Stone Removal: After cutting, handle the stone gently to avoid collisions with the edges; for minor chipping at the cut, lightly sand it with sandpaper to improve the appearance of the finished product.

Equipment Cleaning: After cutting, turn off the power to the cutting machine, clean the work area, collect any remaining stone and waste, and keep the environment clean.

Safe Storage: Store the cutting machine and cutting blade properly. The cutting blade should be placed in a dry, ventilated place to prevent moisture and rust.
