Stone cutting machine is a kind of mechanical equipment specially used for cutting stone (such as marble, granite, tile, concrete and other hard materials) and can efficiently cut and process various types of stone. It is widely used in building decoration, stone processing, engineering construction and other fields. The following is how to judge whether the motor of stone cutting machine needs maintenance.
Appearance inspection:
After power off, open the motor casing and use a flashlight and magnifying glass to check the internal parts such as rotor, stator, brush, commutator, etc. to see if there are obvious wear, damage, surface wear, cracks, corrosion and other problems.
Shell abnormality:
Observe whether there are cracks in the motor casing. If there are, the internal winding may be damaged due to overload or short circuit.
Heat dissipation hole blockage: When the heat dissipation hole is covered by dust and debris for more than 50%, it will cause poor heat dissipation of the motor and need to be cleaned immediately.
Hazards of junction box: Open the junction box to check whether the terminals are loose, oxidized (blackened copper terminals) or ablated (carbonized plastic terminals). Poor contact will cause the motor to run in phase loss.
Abnormal sound identification:
The equipment continues to make a "buzzing" sound accompanied by a periodic "clicking" sound. If there is abnormal noise and vibration caused by wear problems such as bearings, gears or rotor misalignment, it indicates that maintenance is required.
Odor warning:
When you smell a burnt smell, stop the machine immediately and disassemble the motor end cover:
If the winding coil is dark brown or carbonized (insulating paint falls off), it means it has been burned and needs to be rewound;
If there is a burnt smell of grease in the bearing part, it may be that the grease has deteriorated due to high temperature. The bearing needs to be cleaned and refilled with oil.
Check the connection status:
Check whether the connection line between the motor shaft and the lead screw is loose. If it is loose, the motor may have problems and need maintenance.
