Operating Rules Of Handheld Cutting

(1) The saw blade should be kept sharp. If it is not sharp, it can be manually sharpened with highly abrasive materials (such as clay refractory bricks, grinding wheels, etc.). However, such materials must be cut several times with cooling water to expose the diamond particles, so as to achieve the purpose of sharp saw blades.
(2) The installed saw blade should be straight, turn in the same direction, and rotate without jumping or swinging.
(3) For wet cutting, a wet saw blade must be used. Adjust the water spray to the front edge of the saw blade and the cutting surface on both sides. The amount of water should not be too large, so as to be able to remove the cutting chips from the cutting edge.
(4) When the saw blade has not yet contacted the workpiece, start the power switch and start the operation after the speed stabilizes. After the operation is completed, turn off the switch immediately, and the saw blade can be placed down only after it stops completely.
(5) The bottom plate of the cutting machine must be close to the plane of the workpiece and level, and the saw blade must be aligned with the pre-set line and cannot swing.
(6) When cutting, the operation must be balanced, and the blade must be fed at a uniform speed in a straight line. No sudden impact is allowed. Pay attention to slow feeding and slow retraction.
(7) During operation, prevent overloading caused by violent feeding, which will reduce cutting efficiency and shorten the life of the main machine and saw blade. When sawing cement, porcelain, and stone, the cutting depth must be less than 5cm at a time. When the cutting depth is greater than 5cm, it must be cut in 2-3 times, otherwise it is easy to damage the saw blade or burn the motor.
(8) The control of cutting width is ensured and unified by positioning baffles, blocks, and rulers.
(9) When stopping, the power supply should be cut off first and then the water supply to prevent dry cutting.
(10) After work, stone chips and all dirt should be removed, and a layer of lubricating oil should be applied to the rust-prone surface.
